Hello! We are currently focused on creating visual and audio overlays for San Francisco’s Embarcadero district, devising a design competition for the future views of this area, prototyping the viewing binoculars, and seeking funding. We are grateful to the SF Film Society for non-profit fiscal sponsorship - this means all project donations are tax deductible.
The “we” is:
Rivkah Beth Medow - an Emmy-award winning filmmaker who produces and directs documentary, non-profit, commercial, television, and web productions. My projects have broadcast on PBS, ABC, Food Network and screened in film festivals around the world. For the past few years I’ve been working in advertising so I could do short projects, pay the rent and be a parent. Now I’m working on funding and launching SIGNPOST for SF. rivkahbethmedow.com
Kyle Metzner - an industrial designer and metal fabricator who has been working passionately in this field for 14 years. I teach Design/Build at the East Bay School for Boys. Though most of my work involves the architectural and furniture design worlds, I’ve also produced precision prototypes and parts for the aerospace industry. My work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Dwell, and Metropolitan Home. eastbayschoolforboys.tumblr.com and hdandm.com
